The SET KURSI TERAS is an outdoor and patio seating arrangement constructed entirely from solid mahogany timber. Mahogany is selected for this design due to its dense grain structure, natural resistance to moisture fluctuations, and structural stability. The exposed surfaces of the wood are finished to highlight the natural reddish-brown coloration and fine grain patterns inherent to the species, while providing a protective barrier against weathering and ultraviolet degradation.

The physical dimensions of the assembly measure 164.00 cm in total width, 85.00 cm in overall height, and 60.00 cm in depth. The collective unit has a volumetric displacement of 0.8300 cubic meters and weighs 31.00 kg. This weight ensures sufficient mass to prevent displacement by moderate wind loads when placed in open-air environments such as porches, verandas, or garden spaces, while remaining light enough for manual repositioning by one or two individuals.

The structural framework utilizes traditional joinery techniques, relying on mortise and tenon connections secured with wooden dowels to distribute weight evenly across the load-bearing joints. The backrest is constructed with vertical wooden slats spaced at regular intervals, designed to provide lumbar support while allowing airflow through the seating area. The seat pan is integrated directly into the lower frame, featuring a slight backward tilt of three degrees to position the occupant securely against the backrest.

The armrests form continuous extensions of the front and rear legs, sanded to a smooth, rounded profile with a constant width of 5.5 cm to provide a flat resting surface for the arms. The legs terminate in flat, perpendicular cuts that distribute the 31.00 kg weight load evenly across paved or uneven flooring surfaces, preventing localized indentation on wooden decking or lawn grass.

Maintenance of the mahogany material involves periodic cleaning with a damp cloth to remove surface dust and organic debris. Reapplication of an exterior-grade wood oil or sealer is recommended annually to maintain the moisture-repellent properties of the finish and prevent the oxidation of the surface pigments caused by prolonged sunlight exposure. The hardware utilized internally is coated to resist rust formation, ensuring that environmental moisture does not compromise the internal structural integrity over extended periods of outdoor utilization.
